FeeSearch is a gazetteer of over 25,800 places in England and Wales, cross referenced to their local authority and district land registry. You decide whether you would prefer to use FeeSearch on-line or install the software on your office computer via CD ROM. The information contained within it is updated throughout the year. FeeSearch can benefit Law Firms by:

• Saving time. Instantly find the local authority and district land registry by simply entering the name of the town, village or district.
• Clearly presented information. All information is presented on a single screen eliminating the need to search further.
• Administrative Area/Local Authority. Address, contact information, number of copies of the plan, turnaround period (number of working days), specific details about Con 29 Part II questions e.g. Q17 Road Proposals to County Council, Drainage questions Q37 & Q38 to water company.
• District Land Registry. All details including name, address, e-mail, phone, fax, fees and contact details.
• Water Company. Details about the water company, fees charged and turnaround period etc. From June 2001 all drainage searches are to be carried out by the water company not the local authority.
• Mining Searches. Details including coal mining and other searches affecting specific areas of the country such as China Clay and Cheshire Brine.
• Other Searches. Any other miscellaneous search information relating to a locality. (information to be included in phases through the year as it becomes available.
• Updating via the Internet. The data can be updated with a quick download from the Internet at any time.
